Xbox Red Ring of Death
-Companies fault for releasing a console with over a 30% failure rate.
-Have to send it in for repair and won't get it back for 30 days or more without reward or anything.
-Only refurbished and it can happen again.
PSN Down
-Hackers attacked Sony's network causing it to collapse.
-23 days downtime but you can still play many single player games you haven't finished.
-Get 2 free PS3 games and 2 Free PSP games with PSN+ for 30 days.
-Sony improves PSN security so it won't happen again.

They should really add a bump button to each thread and they can only bump it each 10 minutes if it's new but oh well. Bump.

the difference?
they are made from two different companies with many differences.
the new slim has huge improvements in the failure rate (meaning it went down)
ps3 has been hacked making sony think about their security.
whats the issue?

Do people actually buy the Slim? Last time I checked +30-35 million people still own the Xbox yet it took 4 years to actually fix the problem and it still isn't fixed along with scratching of discs LOL!
