what type of screwdriver will i need to open it?

the screwdriver i had to use was the one that looke like a star but it has a little hole in the middle

you need a torx 8 and then take out screws in back of controller

You need a "torx 8" according to the guy who posted above, but I've opened one with a normal screwdriver... That's possible if you're willing to waste a good 30 mins fumbling with it. Also cracked my controller casing. On second thought, dont use my idea. try the "torx 8"... whatever that may be

if u get a drill you can drill the pin offso its a normal screw thats what i done 8)

It will comeup with a worning saying i shortened it twice, thats because TTG Banned Tinyurl links for some reason, dont worry, its just ebay
Then just drill out the middle posts (or bash them out to death) and use that screwdriver
