at this moment in time ive got a advent centurian CPD1301 with 4GB Ram and im wondering if i could upgrade it to 8GB ram can someone get back to me please with a link or sumething

You have to see if your motherboard is capable of doing it.

You then buy the appropriate ram.

As You can see i have look online to find out any information about your motherboard and it seems that you can NOT upgrade because the motherboards capability is 4gb. You can not just swap you motherboard as your prossors will not work on the new one as it has a chipset made to match the current motherboard. i am sorry for the bad news.

Thanks bro ill probs buy new processor, motherboard and RAM but if it costs to much i might just buy a new PC you were VERY Helpful +REP

If your RAM is running low buy a 8gb USB stick or something and use it for virtual RAM.

Make sure you get 64bit windows seven if you are going higher than 4gig of ram as 32 bit does not support any higher.
Also in my opinion there is no point in 8 gig.
What are you using it for?
