Call of the Dead is going to be completely different new characters, new weapons, perks, etc. However will this map expand our current storyline or create a brand new one.
In my opinion the storyline will somehow be revisited during call of the dead, somehow or at least I hope,

it's part of it.
The events we have played have all been covered-up and Romero uncovered Nazi documents regarding group 935 and is shooting a film about it, then while shooting (on location at a former 935 site) they accidently unleash the undead, possessing Romero in the process.
So being a former 935 base I imagine we'll get radios and other bits of info. I imagine we'll melt away some area with the VR11 revealing some easter egg. (wouldn't it be cool to see a frozen Nikolai? probably not that though.)

I have a feeling, because of the movie-like way the trailer was made, this could be a spin-off like Five, the new characters who are again real life people, but it will actually connect to the story as on iMDB it said they're looking for the source of 115 in Serbia or something.
I bet that the third map will the be the original 4 just further on in the story from this, or atleast the last zombie map will have the original people as theyre needed to end the story.
