ok So i decided its finally time to try and fix my JTAG lol! But first let me tell you the story.... about a year ago i bought my first JTAG! It was a xenon and i got it from a guy of craigslist lol! I know my mistake... But i didnt really care just really excited to get my first jtag! Well i finally got it ( console only ) and i had some help from TTG member Colorado on setting it up and he did a great job that night i hosted my first lobby ( which was free for all TTG members )

Anyways... The Small Error the jtag had was the disc would stick (Alot)!
Also i was a complete n00b when it came to jtags so i didnt know i was supposed to have the original Nands

Well my first lobby went great and moved onto the second lobby the next day! had some help from TTG member NEON who helped me flash the new kv

Second lobby went fine as well, went onto my third lobby and bought the kv and when i flashed it it gave me xmas lights

Of course i came back to TTG for some help Alot tried to help but still in the end i had xmas lights

Someone suggested i tried using the Penguin thing and sent me a link to the youtube vid which i followed but then it gave me RRoD

I left it alone for about 10 months and here i am now asking the amazing ppl here on TTG for some help

Sorry if the story was uneccesary lol jusy wanted everyone to know exactly what happened and what i was dealing with lol

OK so here is the Jtag ( sorry for the bad quality )....

I also Have an xtra original xbox 360 if it is possible to use parts from it!

So any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks Guys TTG Is Awesome

try make the bridge raised some it might be touching something else. And maybe try the xlamp fix.
Try leaving it on till it goes to 2 RROD then let it go for 2 mins once it gets to 2 RROD and then turn it off and let it cool down..

EDIT: try looking here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

See that wire i think it bridges 1 and 8 well its the only bridged wire there haha and just try replacing that with a diff wire make sure that it is raised off of the board b/c it could be touching other points

lol actually yes i tried that about 8 months ago lol but still nothing lol! but it did just come to my attention that something is loose on the mother board... like when i shake it the motherboard i can hear rattiling!! so i removed the heatsinks (by the way the compound around the cpu chips look brand new lol) but i can still hear the rattiling!

It sounds like it either comming from inside the hdd connection or the memory card connection!

Can those be replace?
