GREENSBORO A school resource officer used a Taser to subdue an unarmed, suspicious man after police said he walked into a Guilford Middle School classroom and pushed a teacher. No teachers or students were hurt during the incident Monday.
Parrish Lauren Jackson, 24, was charged with trespassing on school property, resist delay and obstruct a law enforcement officer, and assault on a law enforcement officer. Additional charges of assault on a female and assault on a school official are pending, according to a news release..
Jackson was placed in the Guilford County jail under a $200 bond, according to jail records.
At about 2:15 p.m., teachers at Guilford Middle School at 401 College Road observed an unknown man behaving suspiciously.
The man later identified as Jackson was seen pacing across Lindley Road near the schools campus.
Jackson approached the school and entered the building through a hallway door. He was confronted by two teachers, but refused to stop or respond to their inquiries, police said.

The school office was notified and the School Resource Officer was called.
Jackson continued to walk down a hall and entered a seventh-grade classroom occupied by a teacher and about 20 students.
When the teacher confronted Jackson, he pushed her aside and pointed to the students, police said.
School Resource Officer V.H. Sanchez arrived in the classroom soon and told the teacher and students to leave the classroom.
Jackson refused to comply with Sanchezs commands, police said. Sanchez used his Taser stun gun on Jackson. Jackson struggled and kicked the officer. Sanchez was able to gain control of Jackson, and officers from the Western Division arrived.
Police said Jackson, who at this time has no known ties to the school, was not armed. Throughout the incident, he did not appear to be coherent.
No school officials or students were injured. Guilford Middle School teachers and students reacted promptly and calmly, police said.
An administrative investigation is being conducted regarding the use of force. School Resource Officers and the Greensboro Police Department Criminal Intelligence Unit are conducting a follow-up investigation regarding Jackson actions.
