Hey TTG, my birthdays coming up, and I've been long over due for a new pc. I want to make sure this is worth the $600. (specs in pic) Right now my PC is running a 1.8 GHz AMD Sempron, 1gb ddr2, and a 6150 LE w/ a 70gb HDD. I want to at least be able to host a Minecraft server, play at least Cod 4, and edit videos decently.

For 600$ that is a good deal, good processor, descent hard drive & an alright gpu.

If your going to run a server off of your computer you may want to get 6 to 8 gigs of ram, 4 will not cut it.

There is nothing wrong at all with amd.

You get alot of power for not alot of money.

Just because intel is more expensive does not mean it is superior.

I have had my amd x 4 running at 3.2 ghz stocked with no problems for around 4 months now.

But i do agree with you on the power supply though, a corsair modular power supply would be better, but that should be fine for now.

So one of my friends said the video card might be too big for the case, is he right or should I stick with the same video card?
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] I changed the hdd, and the size of the vgu, I dunno if this will fix the potential size problem of the card
