Well A few days ago Insanepaladin47 released the method to get online with Call of Duty 5 mods online such as god mode, noclip, unlimited ammo, and anything else that will work on a gpd. Unfortunately for those without jtags, you cannot do this mod because you need to infect yourself before putting the gpd on. What doesn't make sense to me is, how can you be infected if you sign out of your profile to put the gpd on?

Another question I have is how do infections work? Im guessing it just adds mods to your profile but I thought they were server-side. That is why you lose them normally after you leave the game/sign out. It doesnt make sense fow W@W because you sign out. So what I was thinking is, what would happen if you could somehow add infections to your profile manually with a usb. Like add code to it in hex editor or something. Obviously the W@W infection that you need is not server side so you might be able to find what code was added to your profile if you look at your account before and after the infection in hex editor. I really want to get these mods working for usb.

These are just my thoughts/ideas/questions I have. Please feel free to post your own opinions/answers. I may be on to something .

Also Ive heard people without jtags can get the infection through x-link. Ive confirmed that it doesn't work if you get somebody to recover your account.

when someone is using a jtag to infect themself with mods they dont have to sign out of anything... you stay signed in on your xbox and systemlink the jtag to the normal xbox(the one you should be signed in to) and get infected that way... its the same way people get infected with globalthermolnucularwar on mw2 and how people host xp lobbies and such... hope this cleared up any questions about that

the console is infected not the account.... the infections give you dev capabilities allowing these mods online

If it is saved on the console then it must be saved to a memory unit (I would assume so anyways) so there should be someway to manually add infections through code. Technically speaking, that is what jtags are doing.

it would be more likely located in the cache not in a memory unit
