My school has a system where if you're found doing a good deed, or someone sees you do anything generally good then they award you with "Hornet Bucks". With these hornet bucks you are able to make purchases at the Hornet store. In the store they have tons of things such as clothes, school supplies, knick knacks, and a bunch of random stuff. The three best items they have are and Ipod 8gb touch, an iPod shuffle, and a digital camera.
The ipod touch was 250 hornet bucks the Ipod shuffle was 100 and the camera was 125. Over the last 27 week roughly I have been doing just the littlest things I could to get these, I stayed after every basketball game and picked trash up, handed out papers, and ran errands everyday. Everytime I did something I'd just ask for a hornet buck or two. Surely enough the stack of them grew larger and larger. The best part is on top of all the good things I've done I have had over 10 office referrals and been kicked out once in school suspension once and over 30 days of detention ( my principal and I don't get along)So today I recieved my Ipod from the school and Had it for less than a minute before I siold it to my neighbor for 200 cash.

Now I can use this money as a down payment for the crotch rocket I want. A ninja 250r <3

EDIT: The challenge program is sposoring 250 dollars for 4 people in each grade 10-12..

No absences.
Community service
And best GPA overall.

I'm going to get the community service one in a few weeks and make another 250 bucks For only like 10 hours of service.
