Alright, so I am technically new to this still. I have only installed Optimine (because comp sucks). Anyways where do I put my mods such as ModLoader, and InGameINVEdit? And do I really delete my META-INF folder?

I mean in game unless it's the same process. I don't really like closing Minecraft, opening INVedit, doing the stuff I need to, then opening Minecraft again. Instead I'd rather just have it done in game.

What i recommend and what i do is

Start Up Minecraft but don't start you game, sit at the main menu.

Then open invEDIT add/take away what you want

Save it

Start up the game and leave invedit open

then if you need to re-save just go back to minecraft main menu & then save in invedit again.

It's doesn't update while in game so only way to save it is when either minecraft is closed or at main menu

Yes, meta-inf NEEDS to be removed. its mainly the thing that lets minecraft run unknown files, like my SDK gun mod and in-game inventory editor

So what happens if it doesn't load the game? Do I just force update and then try again?

Open Modloader and minecraft inn winrar. Drag and drop the files from modloader into minecraft. Delete Meta-inf file. Now drag in the mods. Make sure the mods are compatible for your Launcher Version. Hope that I have helped.

Edit- Also make sure that Minecraft is CLOSED during this process

if it goes black screen, then yes. update, install mods, then delete meta-inf perminatly after you have the mod you want
