Hello,

I'm looking at getting a JTAG after my exams and due to not being able to find one from a UK website, it looks like i'm going to have to get one from abroad (USA).

I understand that if i do get one from the US, i will have many problems, such as the power difference, the UK use a mains supply of 240V and 60Hz whereas Americans use 110V and 50Hz. Another problem will be trying to get the xbox to show on my UK television (something to do with PAL and NTSC)

Now what i'm asking is,

Does anyone know anything about electricity? I've searched around the internet but i'm too much of a dummy to take in anything being said. i think, in order to sort the power problem, i will need a 300W step-down power converter (?) if someone could confirm this for me it would be great .

My current television is the 26LG4000 if anyone else has this and can say if it supports the NTSC input thing, it would also be appreciated.

Thanks to all those that help.
