I really hate how leachers post the towel trick to every question about Red Rings. It is not a legitimate fix and will cause more problems. I've even seen some post the towel trick to a post about RROD after a bad jtag flash. Just stop and think about what you say before you post it.

Lol. Actually to a point the towel trick does work. It got my old xbox 360 fix for free from microsoft.

The logic in that is to make it rrod and then send it to xbox and if they see that it is un repairable and you still have a WARRANTY they will send a new xbox.

I think it's more the troll's that post this kind of :idea: , they just want people to suffer for no reason.
