Id rather pay $60 a year for a good quality console and a company that just keeps giving us more, rather than getting it for free from boring, dull, Sony.

its what you pay for, if you pay for it then you expect more like xbox live, but if you dont pay like sony then theres only so much you can do with the amount of money you make. im sure microsft would have the same trouble. sony also had problems in the earth quake so their priorities are most likely towards their families and cleaning that up then trying to get online back up for lazyASS kids isnt at the top of their list.

Because it has a better security system than PSN.

Plus, if we didn't pay, we wouldn't be getting map packs and stuff 1 month earlier than the PS3.

Wel if you really think about it $60 per YEAR is almost nothing. get a job at mcdonals and make that in 1 or 2 days.

We (xbl users) pay for an amazing service.

If you think about this logically.

I am not sure about the number of xbox live users who play each and every day.

But lets just say 200 Million users play each and every day.

Each of those people pay $60 a year.

That is $60 x 200 Million = $1200 Million

That is $120 million going into Microsofts pockets every year.

Now I am sure at least 75% of that money goes directly into the xbox live service.

That cost is to keep security maintained, servers maintained and all the other things.

And also think about it like this. Really you are only paying $0.16 a day to use this service.

Microsoft are not greedy.

They are smart.

End of rant.

It's around 5$ a month, if you can't afford that, then i advise you to stop buying 60$ games a month.

It's fine the way it is.

They should at least charge 20$ for a year of XboxLive. ande also they give us ood servers not like in Playstation Notwork their servers suck its laggy alll the time.
