umm it bores people to death because it takes a while to be explained. unlike religion where it just says GOD IS REAL, it actually proves something. religion isnt only about saying that god is real, it actually teaches you morales and other things. i do not believe in evolution for one simple fact. You never see (whatever animal u believe we evolved from) go into its biome and come out a human.

i am 14 and i have been raised athiest. i can almost guarantee that my morales are better than most people. i am always told that i am respectful and courteus. Unless when i am talking to idiots.

Exactly, thats exactly what it's like with me. I am told all the time I'm a good kid etc, and I'm an Atheist. So everyone else, don't say Atheists don't have good morales.

basically religion picks up from where science hasnt gotten yet. like there is no way there wasnt evolution or dinosaurs. or the earth is only thousands of years old

I believe that Science is the answer because it has evidence and proof to support its theories, while religions are just beliefs supported by a book written by someone 2000 years ago who didn't know better and didn't have any other explanation to things such as natural disasters, Phenomena, etc. and Modern science has the technology to actually find out why these things really happen. And no offense to any religious people but statistics show that non-religious people are more Sophisticated, intelligent , and open minded than religious people. And some people ask: Why are there more religious people than non - religious people in the world? Its simply because the non-religious Scientific society is new to the world and has only been around for 100 years or so and is growing when other religions have been around 1000's of years and since its more traditional more people believe it, but if you haven't noticed more people in modern society are starting to realize religions are most likely false and More and more people are turning over to Sciences Theories rather than religious theories.

ok well this reply i didnt mind until the part about being sophisticated, just cause u actually believe in something doesnt mean your less sophisticated or intelligent than any other person in the world
the reason u may be more open minded is because people that believe in their religion does not like it when others try to change them
It isnt right to try to change anyones religion nor put down someone for having a religion or believing in something other than yours

I believe in god but i dont believe in any religion. I am still looking for a religion that suits me
