Well, If its a newish computer it comes with a premade backup (Factory settings)

You turn the computer on and keep pressing F2, Or F8 (Cant remember).

Anyway, It will take you to a old looking screen like Windows 98 (Seriously..)

Then you can click on "System Restore".

Please Note : This will totally remove everything on your computer, Virus's, Malware, Games, Every single thing you did on it.

I have the Dell inspiron 17R so I think that could pass as a newish computer. but about the system restore, This is basicly like formating your computer? Because I have a 250Gb portable harddrive thingy lol so I could put all my stuff on that, do a system restore, and just copy the stuff back onto it?

How can you be a computer nerd and not know how to do a computer restore lol. Basically it restores the computer to factory defaults.

I won't site here and explain in detail on how to.

What I will say is make sure you pull off any pictures and or documents you want first. Otherwise everything gets wiped.

Google how to do a system restore.
