Haven't really been keeping tabs on the whole "Jtags online" situation well enough to know what some people belonging to the general population know. I did however read one post (of which some of you have probably seen as well) that simply showed the address of some code in IDA pro that fetched the current kernel version. Now please don't flame because like i said i'm not too well informed about any of this but is the xam.xex all we have to patch to trick the xbox live server checks? Cuz i thought the whole deal involved modifying the kernel and the bootloaders and a whole mess of complex shit that i wanted no part of. But, if all that has to be patched is the one xex i might be more inclined to see where my knowledge in ppc can get me.

Right right, I was looking at something to do with tricking the 9199 dash to display itself as a 12625 in system settings. I can't possibly see this being the answer to tricking the servers though :/

Well, It's very clear he knows how to get online, so I wouldn't just say, no he is wrong, and to the kid two posts above, He probably said he is BS so no one will try it (DUHH!)
