Hey TTG I'm buying a new PC and I've got 2 builds that I'm happy with but I don't know what one to choose. They both cost the same amount of money 790 and I'm hoping I would be able to play games like Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, CoD 6&7 and Supreme Commander 2 on at least all medium-high. Specs below.

PC Build 1 (Intel):

Processor (CPU) Intel Corei5-760 Quad Core (2.80GHz, 8MB Cache) + Turbo Boost

Motherboard ASUS P7H55-M/USB3: MICRO ATX MAINBOARD,USB 3.0 & SATA 6.0Gb/s

Memory (RAM) 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (2 x 4GB KIT)

Graphics Card 1GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX460 - 2 DVI,HDMI,VGA - DirectX 11, 3D Vision Ready

Memory - 1st Hard Disk 1TB WD CAVIAR GREEN WD10EARS, SATA 3 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE

1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER R/RW/RAM

Power Supply 450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (29)

Processor Cooling SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE CPU COOLER (19)

Sound Card ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)

Network Facilities ONBOARD 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT - AS STANDARD ON ALL PCs

Keyboard & Mouse Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard with Backlighting (68)

Mouse Logitech MX518 Optical Gaming Mouse (28)

PC Build 2 (AMD):

Processor (CPU) AMD PHENOM II X6 1090T (3.20GHz/9MB CACHE)

Motherboard ASUS M4A87TD/USB3: DUAL DDR3,SATA 6.0GB/s, USB 3.0

Memory (RAM) 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (4 x 2GB KIT)

Graphics Card 1GB ATI RADEON HD5830 PCI EXPRESS - DirectX 11

Memory - 1st Hard Disk 1TB WD CAVIAR GREEN WD10EARS, SATA 3 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE

1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER R/RW/RAM

Memory Card Reader INTERNAL 52 IN 1 CARD READER (XD, MS, CF, SD, etc) + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT

Power Supply 450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (29)

Processor Cooling SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE CPU COOLER (19)

Sound Card ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)

Network Facilities ONBOARD 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT - AS STANDARD ON ALL PCs

Keyboard & Mouse Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard with Backlighting (68)

At the minute I'm drawn more to the AMD build but I need a second opinion. Any useful help and I will plus +rep

Intel - More stable and better investment. AMD's in my experience and develop problems quite quickly in the first 2 years without much use.

Up to you mate
