Activision set the price and not IW, Remove head from ass and Actually Get your facts straight. The amount of people who complain that the rumors they wanted to be true didnt happen is astounding. They Announced they were releasing 5 Maps, and Nothing else. Get over yourselves

well overgrown was a game mode in itself (border patrol) and we were well advised in advance it would be a "map pack" meaning just maps.

My opinion of the new maps:

Bailout - I don't like this due to the fact there's basically 2 routes you can take, one way that you go always takes you to enemies that screw you over due to the awkward staircase and round-the-corner action. The other is a more safer route but it then takes you to a wide open space and then gives you no-where to go but the other route anyway.

Salvage - This map is alright at times, i've found a good route to take when on this map if I spawn at the right end and each end is wide open to exploitation from many directions. It has a good balance of map size to objects in the map although some scenery does annoy me slightly in the placement of it.

Storm - My favourite of the new maps. At the start there is quite a clear spawn-to-spawn view giving you the challenge of surviving and I've always got atleast a kill from the start. Then it seems like the teams spawn on the same edge of the map because the warehouse is just next to the line of sight and brings a feeling of tension as you expect an enemy to pop-up anywhere at any time. You'll do good on this map if you figure out a route from A to B and back again knowing where to aim on the way. I guess that counts for all maps but I can execute it better on this map.

Put it this way - they could charge 50 DOLLARS for these new maps, and people would still buy them. IW practically made us their slaves, they knew we'd still pay an outrageous amount of money for some new maps. They could have at least included some new camos or something

fearbroz wrote The maps are actually good.

But the price is way too high. I'd pay 500 - 650 for it.

I mean think about it you can buy GTA IV Ballad of Gay Tony DLC which is packed with new content.

Both Saints row 2 DLC for about 1250 points in total, TONS of new stuff in the dlc packages.

5 maps for 1200 is just outrageous look at other map packs for other games none top 700 points....

Yea man I agree with you.

i dont like the maps that much, but thats just because they are not my style.
The maps are actually made pretty well, they have good sniper lines, and its harder to camp

I only really like overgrown for Border Patrol and Crash for C&R
