aca25 wrote ok so i had my ipod jailbroken with 3.1.3 and i have a 2nd gen MC version. i restored and updated to 4.2.1 cuz of problems watching videos. Greenpoison wont work with 2nd gen MC versions. I tried redsnow and it said that it wasnt available for the MC version check back soon. I think i had an old redsnow version or something. I heard the new version of redsnow was out but its only for mac and i have windows 7. IS their anyway to downgrade the appropriate way or can someone find me the latest redsnow (believe me i have alread tried) but n e way plz help thanks :!: :!:

steps

1. download snowbreeze, ireb and 4.2.1 firmare

2. open snowbreeze select your firmare you downloaded and pick simple mood

3. let snow breeze finish building your firmware. DO NOT PUT YOUR IPOD IN DFU MOOD YET!!!! and open ireb on the first page selct your idevice and it will tell you to put it in dfu mood follow the instructions. it will say somehting like finished exploiting now restore

4. open itunes and and press on you idevice tab and press shift on the keyboard and select restore now find your firmware you just made and let your ipod restore


THIS WILL WORK IT HAS WORKED MANY TIMES IN PAST ON MANY DIFFERENT DEVICES
