nah dude heres an idea!!!

Rent one from blockbuster!
Take the disc, and download it to your hardrive.
Then return it!
Then just put your scratched one in your xbox and play off that one from your hardrive!

k this is nt the case my MW2 disk has a huge scratch on it and my xbox wouldnt play it so what you do is ......cover the disk in any tooth paste , leave for around 5 mins or so then rub all the paste off ( make sure u get all of it off ) then install MW2 2 your hard drive and when you want to play it got to where you play dwnloaded games from and click " Play from HardDrive" u still have to have the disk in the tray 2 play on the game but it only reads the disk to prove that you have the disk and not just borrowed it from sum1
