the subject pretty much says it all, i'm sick of people joining my session, so how do you sign into xbox live but appearing offline?

The way i do it is put a pin code on xbl, turn your xbox on, change your online preferences to online and then sign in.

lol...I do this most of the time...especially when you have a lots of friends wanting you to join thier party(ies) every single minute.

You disconnect your ethernet cable and then you turn on your xbox.

Then you go to account, preferences and online status, click appear offline.

Turn on your Xbox, then w/o being signed in go to preferences, and appear offline.

If you have auto sign-in turned on, then unplug either your wireless adapter or ethernet cable, turn your Xbox on, then appear offline, then sign-in.
