I have a zephyr jtag, works great but i am doing something wrong. i have dashlaunch installed to boot it into FSD 2.0 and it works fine but as soon as i plug my external hdd in and try to boot the jtag, it wont boot, just stays at the booting screen. as soon as i unplug the external it finishes booting perfectly fine. So im not sure why but the jtag is trying to boot from my external or something. Does anyone know what my problem might be and how to fix this? Help would be appreciated as i have a lot of games stored on my external and if the xbox is already running it wont load my external so i need it to boot with the external already hooked up but usually cant, i can sometimes boot it tho which is why im confused. Please help, thanks!

Sounds like an issue with the external drive.
Only thing i can suggest other than buying a new one is reformatting it.
Then set up Freestyle Dash correctly. You might have something corrupt so take your time.

tried reformatting it just now, drive has absolutely nothing on it atm but its still giving same issue. i can see that the xbox is attempting to read the drive cause my status light on it goes steady. when the status light keeps blinking during boot up it boots fine but its tricky to get it to do that with the hdd plugged in. im assuming then that its my dashlaunch? How would i go about fixing the set up on it? i have freestyle dash on my M$ HDD, i thought i set it up to boot from my HDD but maybe i didnt? here how i set it up:

I am assuming then that i need to change it on the BUT_X line from "freestyledash.xex" to Default.xex and then that might solve my problems, ill try that now. but if it doesnt then do you see anything wrong with how its set up?
