They can't pin point the excact location but they can get your city/town were you live and sometimes your postcode.

Yes finding someones IP is very easy. And then if they find out your IP then can find out where you live...

Yes they can. All they have to do is have permission and a warrant to view your IP Address and if you are...well you know if you do something like threaten someone (If someone takes it to the police and wont stop til your done for.) on xbox live yeah they can use your IP to track you down.
