Hello this is a tutorial on how to shut down a computer thats on your network

Step 1
You need to open up Command Prompt. If you can open command prompt if you are at a school or something then write command.com in note pad and save it as cmd.bat

Step 2
Write Net View and press enter. This should tell you all the computers names that are on your network.

Step 3
Once you have the name of the computer you want to shut down you have to find its ip. To find the ip of the computer you write Ping then the name EXAMPLE: ping joespc. It should say something like: Pinging joespc [192.168.0.10] with 32 bytes of data.

Step 3
Now you have the ip for the computer you want to shut down you write shutdown -i. This should bring up a new program called remote shutdown dialog.

Step 4
Now it should say computers and next to the box there is a button that says add click it. Now put the ip of the of the computer and click ok. Now you can choose what you want the computer to do and click ok.
