The reason why they started putting the teddy bear's in random places is because one of the producers of the game daughter died and all he had left of her was a teddy bear. Freaky stuff!

This might be true that the poor man lost his daughter, but not the real legit reason behind the Teddy's. If you listen in Der Rise, the Evil Doctor had a grand daughter named Amanda (the creepy girl that says insta kill and laughs when the teddy appears). He infected Amandas puppy (the Dogs) which bit her. She always had a teddy bear with her. Now according to WTFuzola's story Treyarch is laughing at the poor mans loss of his daughter when the girl laughs with the teddy bear. This makes more sense and might just be for Treyarch games, but is the actual reason behind the Treyarch Call of Dutys.
