When is the Xbox 720 Going to be Released?
The Xbox has helped Microsoft to establish its name in the gaming console industry. The Xbox 360 gave tough competition to PlayStation and has become one of the highest selling gaming consoles other than Wii and PlayStation. There has been a lot of competition between Sony and Microsoft over the last few years with each of them trying to come up with new and better features for their gaming consoles. While there have been speculations from all around about the launch of PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Microsoft is almost ready to launch Xbox 720, it's just waiting for the right time. While Sony is zipped about PS4 there has been a lot of rumors about the Xbox 720 release date. Compare which is better - PS3 or Xbox 360.
GamesIndustry.biz one of the oldest gaming magazines in the world says Xbox 720 release date is going to be in the year 2012 or 2013. When asked about the Xbox 720 release date, the company's former head of Interactive Entertainment Business Division answered, "We want to support the Microsoft Xbox 360 as far as we can, as for the future gaming consoles we have more than a hundred people working on it and for more details on the release date and price be patient and wait". The main plan of Microsoft is to sell as many Xbox 360 pieces as it can and wait for the right opportunity to launch Xbox 720 with a bang.

Of course there will be a future Microsoft-made gaming console, if that's what you mean. No, it may not be called the Xbox 720 or be released 2012/13, but there will be another console.
