i'm getting the Droid on Friday Hopefully it lives up to what i've heard.

well i would have to go with the droid.. The droids physical keyboard is a turn on for many people including myself.

My friend has an iPhone and its pretty sweet so im going with the iPhone.

Iphones a gay. they are too limited as to what you can do to the actual phone.

You're right, you can't jailbreak a Droid, but you can root your Droid.
Rooting is essentially jailbreaking, you can get all the apps free, you have SU (super user) capabilities to do litterally whatever you want to the phone. You can flash different ROMs on to your Droid phone, and there are programs to let you tweak it to exactly how you want.

SetCPU is a great app- it allows you to make your CPU run faster or slower to make the phone run faster and make everything smoother, or to make it run slower and conserve battery.

WifiTethering- Allows you to host a wifi hotspot directly from your phone, this app is amazingg!

Those are just two great apps on the Droid, but when there are over 100,000 apps on the marketplace.. Droid really does pull through on top!

Now everyone has their own views, but I've had both phones, and my OG Droid is by far better!
