I would like to have the audio from my xbox play through my PC so i can use just one pair of headphones for both but the monitor i'm using doesn't have an 3.5mm jack does anyone know of an adapter or another way around this?

What ports does your monitor have?
Try and see if you can get a converter for a 3.5mm.
Or, just get an audio splitter.

I would look into buying a splitter cable (1 female to 2 male) so that you can plug your headset into your xbox and pc at the same time.
