Any help is appreciated, Thanks

What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
What is the rest of your system?

Would be helpful if you mentioned the above.

If you've got no budget, ditch FM2+.

Best CPU you can get for FM2+ is the Athlon X4 870k or 880k now I think. The X4 860k would work as well, all the same CPU with slightly different clock speeds. None of which are really going to be any significant upgrade over your A8-7600.

Where exactly is your A8-7600 bottlenecking you? What games?

Yeah, I was thinking about just getting a new motherboard... em, lately it has been games like PUBG... I have to run on low settings but still let lag drops here and there. I just want to be able to play new games on average settings, but with the CPU thats not going to happen. Even the demo for FH4 on low settings struggles to load the map areas ahead of me.

Oh yeah, the A8-7600 will hold you back in PUBG for sure. If you want to upgrade socket to something new, you'll have to buy some DDR4 RAM as well. If you don't want to spend the money on DDR4 RAM, you'll have to buy used. In which case, you should be able to pick up an i7-4790k and decent Z97 motherboard for £200. You'd probably be spending about the same for a newer CPU+Mobo, but 16GB of DDR4 is an extra £130+.
