Was playing cross play duos and got put in a game with 2 PC players, i know this because one of them was streaming. It was my understanding that when you play on cross play you would only que up against people who were also playing cross play.

When crossplaying, you're put into PC lobbies. Not cross platform lobbies.

This is why console players can compete in the duo summer skirmish events alongside a PC team mate.

Exactly, cross-platform play = PC lobby

I play on PC with all PC players and it still has my lobby setting as cross-platform

When matchmaking your put up against pc and Xbox players but sometimes there can be just pc players
