Gonna try it friday, found a steal on a lot of jasper consoles and I have an extra amount of acev3's laying around.

Doesn't seem hard, was just curious if anyone has had any experience and if it really is different from using a rev c/d, i've seen people say its not really ideal to use the v3 on phats, not sure if its because of the extra work or if its just something else.

Never really attempted it. Post some results here after you succeed with it, sounds like a fun project to do

Don't forget to use dynamic Timing File for better success pretty easy to do them.
