Hey guy's I'm currently looking to upgrade my current build. My budget is 700-900 pounds but i could stretch to 1.2k if i wait another month.

My current build:

CPU: Amd FX6300
Cooler master seidon 120
GPU: GTX 970
Ram: 8GB
HDD: 2 TB
600W PSU
Zalman Z9 Case
MSI Motherboard can't remember what it is.

I do a lot of gaming, recording music/editing music etc.

Add an SSD for sure. CPU is definitely holding you back more than GPU so aim for a CPU upgrade before GPU.

We're going to need to know what specific make and model PSU you have, as well as what monitor(s) you're using with the system.
Also, what do you use the system for?(what games/programs)
Will you overclock?

How old is that cooler? If it's a bit old, might be worth replacing but it could be re-used. Also, do you want to re-use case or upgrade it?

Are you sure it is 600W? It might be an OEM PSU. Can you list the exact make and model on the sticker on the side of the PSU because I can't find the PSU you're talking about anywhere. I don't think Super Flower have many 600W units. Is it 80+ Gold rated, or what efficiency rating does it have, if you know?

1080p? 4k? 144Hz?
