I am slowly but surely getting caught up to Gintama! At first this anime seems like it is not that serious, and even that everything is just a big joke. But they throw in serious moments, and a lot of character depth. In fact, all the funny episodes are not filler. By that, I mean that they are cannon, and that they are used to make you get to know the characters and really like them. So when something emotional happens, you feel it 10x harder. That's my take on the show! I know a lot of anime try to do that as well. I just feel like Gintama does it better.

That being said, I am curious as to who your favorite Gintama character is?

Mine is definitely Gintoki, and after that, Katsura. I'm a sucker for the main characters haha. Gin's such a good guy, and lives his life the best he can.

Hasegawa,Zura and Gin are my favorite.Its not Katsura it's ZURA XD.
