I have an Xbox one and my friend has a ps4, we added eachother on the epic games launcher and i was wondering if it was possible for me and him to play?

It is not because Sony has not allowed this to happen and I doubt they will as they're so far stuck up their own ass..

You can only play with IOS / Andriod / Mobile / Tablet
Or PC

Would it be possible to have a PC user invite both the ps4 & Xbox one player to his lobby and play that way?

Sony haven't allowed crossplay between the two yet
