It's a high body count but other serial killers have managed to kill many more.
Harold Shipman did the same thing and killed over 200 of his patients.
Pedro Alonzo Lopez claims to have killed over 300 people (and its considered likely to be true by authorities)
H.H Holmes is estimated to have killed up to 200 people.
A serial killer in Hungary killed over 600 people in the 16th century I think.
There's a lot with insanely high victim numbers.
We tend to remember the ones who were most brutal or strange rather than those with an incredibly high number of victims.
Ed Gein, David Berkowitz, Ted Kaczsynski, Ted Bundy, etc.

Because he was bored? Well there are some not all there people out we have in this world. But I agree with Eli, Mikey. There are people who murder out there with a lot more kills on there hands.
