So quite recently my jtag has been struggling to connect to my internet for some odd reason. basically i'll do a session on my jtag and once im done i'll turn off the console and unplug the ethernet (Which by the way i have shared connection and plug it into my laptop because im no where near my modem so i cant just connect it to my modem) and then the day afterwards when i try and connect it it'll say i dont have a connection when i full well know i do (Ethernet cable plugged into laptop and internet is on shared connection with ethernet cable). If anyone could help out here id appreciate it alot. Thanks

I had a same issue, in my office room it's black spot for WIFI and my router was/is in my living room. So I purchased one of these and so now I got my PC, RGH and my laptop hooked up to this.

you could get a cheap one and give it a trial run see if it helps you out bud.

Thanks for the suggestion here man. Please try not to crucify me here as I'm not familiar with these sorts of things haha but what exactly does this do? Appreciate it if you have to explain in simple terms since I'm a simple man lol

Think of it as adaptor bud, you plug in your main Ethernet cable into one of the slots and in the others you plug a Ethernet cable from console the the hub and then anther from your PC to the hub. It's pretty much a extension lead but for Ethernet cables.

Ohh I see so you plug one Ethernet from the PC to the main slot (I'm assuming whilst your internet is on your PC) and that provides internet for the other 4 slots?

can anyone clarify this is actually what it does? Do I use this in the same room as my laptop and Xbox, connect one Ethernet to the laptop and another to the Xbox then this device uses the laptop connection (to the Internet) to the Xbox making it connect?

I personally just plug an ethernet from laptop > RGH
then share my Ethernet /w wifi, or a VPN if I'm running, no need to bridge
