Hey guys & gals. I was looking into purchasing the HP Omen 24.5 144hz Monitor. I'm aware most standard HDMI cables are unable to reach 144hz and cap out at around (75hz?). However, after some slight research it appears the Omen comes with an HDMI 2.0 cable that is capable of achieving the 144hz. BUT I am struggling to find any solid evidence that my GPU has an HDMI 2.0 Port. I'm also aware that a DisplayPort adapter would work if the HDMI didn't but that's just more money. If anyone could tell me if it does I would highly appreciate it!

GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 x 4G ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

HDMI 1.4b and HDMI 2.0 only support 1080p@120Hz. Your GPU has 2 x DP 1.4, 2 x HDMI 2.0, and 1 x DVI-D Dual Link for output. You can use an HDMI 2.0 cable for 1080p@120Hz. Or, you can use DVI-D or DisplayPort for 144Hz.
