my motherboard: A58M-E33
Socket FM2+

i have installed a GTX 1050 Ti which runs battlefield amazing, but only if i'm in a server with max player limit of 32

I got a computer nerd friend who helped me out but says he doesn't know a whole lot about processor upgrading and such.

i was just wandering what would be the best computer processor that would fit my motherboard, that will boost my gaming and be around $200-$300 thanks again for reading this thread

if you know any youtube links that helped you better understand CPU upgrading and help me learn about it please drop them below, Thanks again!

Your better off not sticking with an APU since you have a GPU.With this you have the option to upgrade to an I5 or an I7 in the future.

i3-6100 makes no sense whatsoever. There's no really logical CPU upgrade on FM2+ IMO, unless you have a low end APU, in which case you could get an X4 860K or something. However, you'd be better off just buying a new motherboard for a new socket.

If you can manage to wait until January for H310 and/or B360 motherboards to launch, you'll be able to get a Coffee Lake i3 for under $300.
