So im doing a project at university and need some quick answers.

If i had a cluster of servers in one city providing services(Print, File, DHCP DNS) to computers there would it be logical to have computers from another city also use these services or could problems occur?
Example cities would be Edinburgh and London.

You could use a site-to-site VPN so both sites are part of the same network, but there are more considerations in the real world. For instance:

How's the connectivity?
How many users?
How much can you spend?
What kind of traffic?
What's at stake?
What if the connection goes down? Will people die?
What other services need to be accessible?
Is the other location secure?
