Anyone able to invite friends to a HQ?
If so is there any type of special method to do so as I can't join any mates.

Try inviting them to your game party before you go to the HQ and they should be with you

Right now the servers are having issues, I can only assume it's because of the sheer amount of people trying to connect and the servers can't handle it.
