So I have this "older" laptop of which is an HP 15-g012dx. It is a laptop with NO access doors for anything on the bottom so you have to completely dismantle the thing to work on it. Anywho, my main question is can the ram be upgraded? And what speed/kind/max ram would it take and work perfectly? Looking in the ballpark of making the current 4gb ram, 8gb so it will run my editing programs more smoothly. (I edit CoD and use AE, SV, tons of effects).

If anyone could help me out i will max rep you. Thx.

from what I can find from google, the procedure for upgrading this model of laptop is in this PDF: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Also, important to note you will need DDR3L ram rather than DDR3 ram.
