I'm just curious as to how this system works, it has always confused me when it comes to maintaining contact with others on TTG via PMs. Can someone please explain to me?

Outbox is for PMs that the recipient hasn't read yet. Sentbox is for PMs that have been read

Outbox = Sent but not read.
Sentbox = Sent and read by recipient.
