hey guys so I'm going to youtube a lot. I bought an elgato HD 1080p 60fps. and a nice mic for speaking. I'm hella excited!!!!

I love gaming mods and normal gaming without mods its my all round hobby.

what other equipment do I need to become successful in the youtube community?

thanks

oh and I can afford the $300+ editing softwares like vegas pro and that
that's a down fall....

Look at other popular gaming youtubers and see how they edit their videos. Also use your own sort of comedy/entertainment to make you different from the others so people will be interested in you more.

Also tell your friends and peopel you know to go subscribe and help support your channel. It'll really help you out when you're starting

Just a couple of things i can advise.

Learn to take criticism, it can help you become an all around better youtuber.

Be consistent, but also bring quality with your consistent-ness.
Meaning, don't just release mass amounts of videos just because you can, make the clips count. Not only are you hurting your channel by spamming everyone's inbox with watered down videos, your also going to burn yourself out quickly doing that. Quality>Quantity.

Take my statement into consideration when i mean quality/quantity, theres a youtuber ive been watching for god knows how long, i think i was about 13 when i started watching him and i'm almost 20 in September. Dude's name is Hcbailly, hes only gained about 20k subs since iv'e started watching him over 6-7 years ago. You gotta respect the dudes grind, but hes obviously in a drought.

Tl;dr, just have fun and don't overwork yourself

Just do you, equipment wont get you big on youtube a good personality, sense of humour and good content will. Also Sony Vegas and other stuff like that. Dont pay. The Elgato will definetly help though. Make sure to link us your YT here and in the Media section!
