Michael Condrey tweeted and confirmed that there will be no theater mode this November.

This won't be that big of a deal. The Xbox One has a DVR for a reason; if you want to record something, just double tap the Guide button and record the last 5 minutes of a match.

No big deal, never used it anyway since Xbox One has the option to record last 5 minutes or manual record 10 minutes

People also use theater for things other than just recording.

People use it for videos/montages to get angles and cut scenes
