Ihave got hdmi plugged in and the av lead and I'm not getting anysignal on the TV I have do the hold power button and wait for the second beep and it's still not doing anything

Get into recovery and reset to default settings or just exit it should reset your HDMI

Fully power off your console, then once it's on stand-by, press and hold the power button for roughly 5 seconds until you hear a second beep. This will reset the video / audio output settings. This will then give you the option to setup the console with the HDMI detected. Just make sure you select the resolution settings that your TV supports.

I have done that about 10 times and on different tvs have striped it down as well to check if they have come loose off the M/B but they haven't
