This is more of a rant, and see if I can get some help. I tried to buy a pre modded account from 2 users today, and they both kinda hurt me. First one charged me $65, but he issued me a refund due to technical difficulties. Just about an hour ago, I tried to get an account and paid $50 and he hasn't go back to me since I paid. I paid with PayPal and friends and family.. is there any way I can get the $115 back? That's a lot of money for me being a 17 year old working a minimum wage job. Yes, I know it was stupid of me to try and by stuff like that, but really wanted GTA 5 Money and such. Any help. Please.

Has he been online since you've sent him the money? Was the transaction process done via TTG PMs? If so, wait a while and see if he reaches out to you. If not, send a member of the Staff a PM.
I've read that there's no way to get a refund once paid via Family and Friends but I've also read if you get in contact with PayPal directly (via phone), you might be able to form a dispute. Wait a while to see if the seller responds to your messages before calling PayPal though.

If he won't issue you a refund, you could always claim it as unauthorized. If it really is a scam he won't have any proof and you will win the case.

if the guy who charged 65 gave a refund then you should have that money back, you shouldnt of lost that 65, also like the user above said wait abit if he dosnt get back to you try ringing paypal

Yes sir, I contacted PayPal and they can't do anything on there end because it was friends and family. Then again, I spoke to a bot, not an actual representative. He told me was going to refund it, hasn't yet and it kind of worries me.

PayPal has updated their policy and rules when people pay with "Friends & Family" There's no way you can get the money back unless you speak to your buyer. about it.
Payments sent through the Friends and Family option are not eligible for Buyer Protection at this time.

Never send by friends and family unless you've known the user for many months and are confident in their credibility. I say learn from the mistake and move on like many of us here (including myself) have.
Also if he doesn't get back to you and is on ttg please report him. There's no space in this community for people like that.

Only possible way you could get your money back is by calling your bank and claiming it was unauthorized payment

If the purchases were made to users on TTG, then report it to staff and im sure they can help in someone. Even if you dont get your money back, it could be possible for you and ttg staff to prevent the same people doing it again.
