Considering applying to my Local Cinema when I leave college soon. You have to be 18 to apply so I'll have to wait a month or so after finishing College but I was thinking about it just in the mean time whilst I get things sorted.

A plus is they let you see movies for free before they even come out to the public (as listed on their careers page).

Anyone worked at a cinema before? Anything I should know or any reasons I shouldnt?

I had a friend in school that worked in our local theater. He seemed to like it. I think he was the manager at the time, so he was making enough to be happy while still in high school.

He also got to see movies early, and he saw pretty much ever single one.

I don't see any reason not too if you're looking for a job. Go for it.

The only issue is the travel. No direct bus from my house to the cinema so I'll have to work out what busses to go on/off and so on.

I have a couple buddies that work at one. They love it and have been working there for 3 and 4 years.

They are solid jobs. And as stated above, a job is a job. Plus this job has some great benefits.

My good friends worked in one.
He would get free movies and see movies early as you stated.
He said it's pretty easy, he would just be watching movies for the most part.
