Where does the car need the power? Do you have a dyno sheet or is the HP just what it should be? If you don't have a dyno sheet, I would get one. What this will tell you is where the car needs the power, either the top end or bottom end.

If you need more power from the line you will want a smaller turbo as they spool up fast. The helps acceleration more than top speed. A bigger turbo takes longer to spool up but gives more power on the top end.

As far as what turbo / turbo set up I can't help you there. I would look up to see if anyone has turboed these cars and see what they used and how it worked out for them.

I am not sure about what turbo to buy but he should know putting a turbo on a car isn't a small job. If there isn't a factory model of the same car that came with a turbo its gonna cost a fair bit. You will need custom made piping for everything. manifold, intercooler etc. Not to mention I think they have pretty small engine bays and not a whole lot of room for a turbo, all the piping and the intercooler.

Also, you will either need a piggyback system for the ecu or an entirely new one, the car will need to be tuned as well.

If your brother wants a turbo car, sell the swift and buy a factory turbo car. It will save a lot of headaches, time and money.
