Hush wrote I currently pay $250+ for internet and TV. My speeds are trash for what I'm paying for and I even upgraded my router and still nothing. I pay for 11Mbps but my speeds range from 30-45Mbps download and ~5Mbps.

Anybody have any tips on what I can do? This is the only provider that is around for my location so changing providers is not an option.

Thanks

Have you tried changing out routers and modems? I had the same issue with my internet provider when i 1st got them. I switched out my router and modem for gaming ones i purchased and saw a major increase. Plus if you are renting your router/modem, you can return them and get some money off your bill a month.

Not true, almost all will charge you the same rate regardless

it is cheap in certain states in the US to be fair. Bellsouth, ATT, Google. Locally hosted ISPs ETC it isn't as expensive as it used to be for business premiums either.

I personally have a modem/router combo unit provided by my ISP
I pay for 300mbps download 20mbps upload

If I were you I would check your equipment settings and see if there's anything in there you could tweak to get a better connection going, thats what I had to do when I first setup my service.

Man, I pay $160 a month for Cable, Phone and Internet and I never get a solid speed. I can get UP TO 300 Mbps. I usually average 50-60 down and 20 up. Which is shit for what I pay for, when I ask about it, they tell me to read the fine text. I get UP TO but not guaranteed.
