Good idea, but you have to remember, weights are very expensive. It's about $1 a pound so if you're repping out 60's in dumbbell press, that's $120. Well I think so. But I'm pretty sure it's close to $1 a pound. But you can also get sets of weights and so on. Good luck on making gains!

Any weightlifting is better than no weightlifting.

That being said, I recommend investing in a barbell and squat stand/racks (for safety).

Sometimes you can find this stuff on craigslist. I started with Stronglifts about 15 months ago. Buying this equipment and doing this regimen was one of my better decisions.

Hour for hour, doing compound lifts in an effort to increase your maximum has had the most profound effect on my physique. It's hard work. You will probably have to deal with some minor injuries. But it has been worth it, in my experience.

You'd be surprised at how much results you can get from getting a couple sets of Dumbbells and incorporating numerous workouts with them. Bicep Curls, tricep over head, lunges, shrugs, calf raises, chest press if you have a bench. Good luck on getting your physique to your desired state.

yeah thats True but the downside is you have to learn the form yourself . Like benchpress you need someone to teach you when you start because you can make heaps of mistakes doing bench press even when you think your doing it right. I reckon everyone should get a personal trainer when they start because they will do the complete wrong stuff and **** their shoulders doing tge wrong shit
